I had the good fortune of running several Wooden Wars Napoleonic games at Kublacon this past weekend.

Superbly produced, and painted troops, but considerably underfed.

Looks to me like they need to do a bit more foraging, before entertaining another protracted march, or battle.

Great to see so many kids (big and little) having a good time, Thomas!

Advance the cavalry and take those blocks or die trying!
I love the picture of the line of infantry taking fire from the flank.

You did seem to have a large crowd there all of the times you were putting it on…

Well done Thomas,
You have me hooked, though I may need to do some stretching before each Battle ;)

Cheers Gents!
Herr Grossman- that unit isn't getting hit from the flank, it is in column, otherwise known as the "domino formation". In the game, players can choose to march move their infantry two batons (normally it moves one). This can gain ground quickly, but as they must finish the move in column, well, the picture says it all.

Clif- There is a group of "knee challenged" gamers which are currently using my Wooden Wars models to play Black powder. That being said, I'll get you playing Wooden Wars soon!

Thomas
