Hello,

I am in search of a an image of the following two commanders (both were present at Lutzen, 1632):

Bulach (Swedish: Later a general, I believe he was a colonel--overste--at Lutzen).

Reinach (Imperial General)

If there is a digital image out there on the web, I would appreciate a URL to get to it. If you know of some other source, that would be useful as well.

Thanks,
Ed M

I've never seen an image of either man and a search of the net using their full name does not turn up any either. That is not the same as no portraits existing but they could be hidden away in private collections or only preserved as photos of now lost artwork. (Lots of stuff going up in flames or otherwise missing after 1939-45)

Thanks, Daniel and Rudi,

I've been researching for awhile now, both in print and in digital formats, and my sense is that if there are portraits that survived, they haven't made their way into wider public view. Given your perspectives and resources, this would seem to confirm that impression.

Best,
Ed M
