In light of the discussion of the Waterloo remake, I was thinking that the wars needed to be aimed at females. So I was thinking a Reverse Harem anime, with Josephine as the central character.

Napoleon is obviously your "prince" character, with Davout filling in the spot of the "cool/glasses" character. So who would you nominate for the other roles?

For those of you unfamiliar with the genre, here's the wiki for an example series: link

Note the cast list, and the roles therein.

Well, that would make Wellington the trenchcoat, eyepatch, wearing, but tragically romantic villain.

This is funny.

I love this idea. Imagine the monologuing!

I can envision Blucher as one of those dwarfish characters that's all moustache and bouncing off the walls at the smallest things.

Never mind the monologuing – think of the opportunities for awful, out-of-synch dubbing!

I think someone's channeling the manga 'Rose of Versailles'…

Talleyrand as the devious Evil Grand Vizier.

Ney as the brave but slightly dim.

Augereu as the lower class comedic break

St Cyr as the laid back with all the pithy lines.

Who would be the little rabbit/cat/mouse creature that pops up for comic effect now and then?

Nice one mate!

Actually if you were going to do this as alive action have Alan Rickman play St. Cyr.

Good idea, but Nelson, not Wellington.

Don't post these things! Somebody will actually do it!

My wife, the some-time webcomic artist, says:

That's really funny. Somebody should totally do it.

… What are you looking at me for?

This, after looking at a painting of a 23-year-old Napoleon, and declaring, "Oh my god! He's a total bishie!"

I'll wait for the hentai version.
