A and I agree with Mark Davies. Military what Not only do you have the primary branches (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard in the USA and Active or reserves or National Guard. Being in a certain branch of service means different things to different enlistees. In addition each main branch has internal branches or MOS. So in the Army they may be Aviation, Armor, Infantry, Artillery, ADA, MPs, Chemical, Signal, Military Intelligence, Finance, Transportation, Quatermaster, JAG, AGand engineers. |

A+ German Fallschirmjaeger (Black Forest Brigade/ Bundeswehr) and detached to SOCEUR (US Special Forces). :) They only take people which "Multiple Volunteer status". You should add this status of "Multiple Volunteer". I am not sure anymore but I think I signed 4-5 Volunteer statuses in my time. ("Mehrfachefreiwilligenmeldung") Greetings and have fun |

H- Army Cadets for 4 years. It has come in handy later in life as we were trained on WW2 vintage gear – SMLE, Bren plus a few short range trips with Owen Machine Carbines. I now work the occasional day in movie armouring & SPFX, so a sound knowledge of drill & stripping for early 20th Century firearms is a plus. No bayonets, which was a wise move considering the level of ingenuity the lads showed with the equipment – I saw two SMLE's broken, one had the stock snapped off removing a lump in someone's bed spot while camping and the other had the bolt handle and half the bolt broken off – which amazed the Regular Army articifers. |
