Your work is just sooooo darn good!!

What size bases are you using and from where?
Thanks.

I use 20x20mm bases and 30mm or 40mm circular bases, they come from Fenris Games

Many Thanks

Dazza

I've just caught this thread. Absolutely superb work both in quality and quantity. You would need an epic table and beautiful terrain to really do this huge collection justice.

Inspirational.

Phil's post has prompted me to revisit this thread.

Beautiful painting and basing and so wide ranging in the units depicted as to almost qualify as a painting resource in its own right.

Hi Dazza.
You have a blog or website?
That is the best 10mm collection i have seen up to now.
My 10mm 1809 armies are nearly far enough to get them on the table and i was fairly happy with them until i saw your figs.
Dammit!

ukstrike.co.uk, its a little dated at the moment but hoping to sort out a few updates this year, but work and figures take my time up.

Kilts weren't worn in North American colonies by any forces; read up on it.

Supercilius Maximus05 Dec 2016 2:07 a.m. PST

Actually, both the 42nd and 71st wore kilts when they first arrived in America and during the New York campaign of 1776. Thereafter both went into plain overalls, the 71st possibly converting their 1777/78 issue of kilts into trews for that year.

The Royal Highland Emigrants, later 84th Foot, had both battalions in kilts during the early part of the war, most likely issued from the kilts put into storage by the 42nd and 71st. The 74th (Argylles) and 76th (MacDonald) Highlanders also wore the kilt when they first arrived in America in 1779, but swapped for trews soon after.

These are incredible…but I see (probably since it's such an old post) I can't open up all the pics of all you've done. Do you have a internet site (blog) or anywhere where all these different regiments pics still are?
