A good friend of mine is going to visit Naples – Italy in a few days.
He need info about any gaming/hobby shopping locations there or arround that ancient city.
Anyone had some data about that?

Many thanks in advance for your guidance and help.

There's so much to see there, who has time to game? grin
I was last there in 82, so don't remember anything anymore.
Hope somebody else has a better memories, and hope your friend has a good trip.

Armand, You can use my blog for Naples pics and infos

Use tags Naples, Museum wink

Obviously visit the National Archaeological Museum, the Capodimonte Museum, the Royal Palace, the three main fortresses, Maschio Angioino, Castel dell' Ovo and Forte Sant' Elmo. And obviously so many other things…Remember, there is a special card with discounts on entry tickets and in May there are many other events with "Maggio dei Monumenti".

I was in Naples in '91. Too busy walking and eating and watching pretty girls to think about gaming.

The sculpting in the veil of christ church is worth the entrance price – but its 1:1 scale so it might not be your freinds scale.

Don't go alone anywhere
Don't sit in a park if there are blokes on bykes on sight
Watch your back… and your front

If possible, stay in Sorrento, Salerno, Pompey or any other Campanian city a little bit less rough than Naples city

I second what Zopenco stated. Sorrento is a great place. More friendy IMHO. The Gran Marina and Piccolo Marina was a neat place to relax and enjoy the sights of a coastal town. If your friend has a car, you must drive down the Almalfi coast line. The views are spectacular.
