I plan to mount my figures individually Big Red. I'm not too keen on mounted groups for WWII gaming.

You mentioned options for vehicles on your blog: Peter Pig for flavour (definitely the case for infantry). If you are looking for inexpensive decent vehicles then gamodls is worth a look. Worst part – they are all resin, best parts are they are inexpensive and come assembled. A good paint job does wonders (many of the paint jobs on the website are horrible!) gamodls.com

I would second PSC and throw in Zvezda as well as sources for reasonably priced yet pretty good vehicle models.
