I usually post in the Napoleonic boards but as I'm currently engaged on painting a large AWI commission for 10mm Pendraken armies I thought I would share my progress over here! So far I have completed just 6 x 24 figure units – the first time I have worked in 10mm scale – and I have to say these little castings are beauties. I'm working to a uniform guide provided by my customer and I'm slowly getting the 'period feel' required hopefully. I hope you like the pictures, please remember they appear here larger than actual size, and I welcome any comments or suggestions. Pictures posted with the consent of my customer.
Finally, a comparitive shot for scale -28mm, 20mm, 10mm AWI's and 6mm!

Coming along very nicely. I have to say though my own collection is 15mm Peter Pig I'd be tempted by 10mm if I were starting over. |

Nah, Wally, be insane like me and do them in 10, 15 and 30mm scale. Pendraken, Blue Moon/Peter Pig (plus another new line?) and Fife & Drum figures respectively
. Gads man, sign me up for the looney bin because I think I will be doing this in three scales eventually! |

This hobby is a little weird at the best of times but surely AWI is a very curious addiction indeed. I know so many people hopelessly addicted by the period in a way other periods don't grab you. I can fully understand people collecting it in at least three different scales. |
