Are there any gaming stores, etc. that I should make it a point to seek out this weekend in between soccer matches?

You should visit the ruins of Fort Miamis, the Fallen Timbers battlefield memorial and reconstructed Fort Meigs.

There is the game room.

Actually some of the best gaming I've done has been in Toledo, Oh. It is the undiscovered capital of American gaming.

Make that the Game Room.

Also the art museum is well worth checking out. It is one of the best art museums I have been to in the US.

Anyone know roughly how far The Game Room is off the I-75 ?I'll likely be driving through this Friday.

Pictors Studio07 May 2013 6:56 p.m. PST

It is about 2.9 miles.

Another vote for Fort Meigs. This is the bicentennial of the siege and the museum has some traveling exhibits on view.

Last weekend was the reenactment of the 200th ann. of the British siege.

Isn't there a plaque somewhere nearby about the Michigan Ohio war over Toledo?

Tony Paco's for hot dogs 5 ways. Great "Mash" connection. The Toledo Museum of Art has a wonderful little collection, and usually features a nice traveling show, as well.

Too bad you weren't in the area this past Saturday and Sunday as they had the bicentennial War of 1812 re-enactment with ovr 600 re-enactors at Fort Meigs. It was well worth seeing. Go see Fort Meigs regardless, it is well worth seeing anyways.
