Thinking of using some of these in my VSF/Steam Punk project. Couple of questions I'd appreciate advice on 1. Is there anywhere a list of what scale each model is? I guess they vary a bit – the omnibus looks about the same size as a delivery van, for example, and I'd like to get as close to 1/58-1/64 as possible, I guess. 2. Where can I find suitable replacement drivers in Victorian dress – surely some enterprising manufacturer has jumped on that (band)wagon! |

SJWalker38 I've done a few adaptations of the Lledo models. Most of them are, I think, closer to 1/72, based on the size of the driver and horses. However most of them can be adapted to work very well with 25-28mm figures. The exceptions are the omnibus and the tram. which are way too small for 28mm to fit into. However, one model that does work straight with no conversion is the brewer's dray. The horse is still a bit on the small size, but the driver works fine alongside 28mm figs. I bought a batch of western stagecoach drivers from Dizon, which come with a mix of headgear, including a bowler hat. Those with obvious western-style hats got head-swaps. I also replaced the horses with larger 28mm artillery horses from various manufacturers. With the larger drivers and horses, you can't really tell that the carts themselves are slightly underscale. Best of luck, and have fun. |

I have a bunch of the Lledo diecast drays and wagons. They are cheap as chips to pick up. They are closer to 1/72nd but stick them on a base and no-one will care. |
