Hi, I need help locating a model again. Last time I asked for help, I actually had the miniature to hand. This time though I have very little to work with. I saw it online on Sunday, and my browser's playing about – it's deleted all of Sunday's browsing history and duplicated yesterday's in its place. I can't even remember how I stumbled upon it. What I saw was a pair of models on a scenic base of sorts. What stood out most was that one of the models looked like it was supposed to be a Mass Effect Quarian under a different name (a not-Quarian as I believe it's termed). I think at least one of the models had 'hunter' in its name or title. IIRC the models were 54mm scale, and available for pre-order. I think the set came with two DVD painting tutorials, one for each model. I know North Star Models do some not-ME models at 28mm and 54mm scale (I've ordered a 28mm not-FemShep), but it's not them who've made this model. If you can help out then great, but if not then no worries – it's entirely possible I just dreamed it up. |

Funnily enough I saw those earlier. Amazing as they are, no that's not what I saw. I think those are conversions; I saw something up for general release. The scenic base I mentioned was a column and some walkway to keep the models together. Also those models are of a Drell and Salarian, not a Quarian and whatever the other was |

I've found it. Turns out it was here: link I think what put me off was the price: it's €42.00 EUR for just the miniatures, none of the fancy stuff (collector's box, certificate, etc) which doubles the price to €84.00 EUR I also have no experience with anything bigger than 32mm scale. Still, comes with a tutorial DVD for each model, and it might help me learn new skills. |

Those are infinity minis with head swaps. *Very* good conversions, but I know both minis. Sniper is this guy:
And the crouching model is this one:
Again, excellent headswaps and painting. The crouching model almost looks like a photoshop headswap. |
