Would the figure at the tip of this 9 inch long set of Kotobukiya chopsticks make a cool statue for a temple or ruins, if painted to look like stone?

What do you think?

I think it would work fine, statues are pretty scaleless anyway.

Use it for something like the last Indiana Jones movie, and I don't think you'd even have to paint it to look like stone. It's obviously made out of some unknown alien metal or something.

Great find. I use a bunch of figures from the old Dreamblade game as statues for 6 or 28mm. I have nothing this size however and will have to get a set.

jeeeeez they're unpleasent!

Great as a gaming resource but the concept of trying to eat something with them (without barfing it up [accompanied by thoughts of my dinner bursting through my chest]) would seem unlikely to come to fruition…

Great find.

I think they would look fine as statues.

I just asked my wife to pick me up some of these while in Japan this month. The look I got back was scarier than the Alien . . . . I'm guessing it meant "No" . . . .

Brother Jim07 May 2013 7:07 a.m. PST

Tell her you don't intend to eat with them.

Sure, why not?

Sweet! Good find, Dan!

Just one more thought, if you take the stick part after you cut the figure away. You might be able to cut them into sections and make a mold for casting walls! :D

Yep, those look great!

A shame they didn't do the lower leg parts as well.

Can you imagine the sale's pitch at the marketing board meeting?
"Yeah! Sure people will want to put these into their mouth."

As above – would look great – in a kinda "eek" sort of way

Not Alien but close enough

I can't imagine eating with those. Or even wanting to.

I'm a fan of Giger's work – but not every piece of art should be merchandised in every way possible.
