My wife and I went to World Market, an import store in Katy TX (the Houston area) and I spotted the following Retro Spaceships for about $2 USD each:

I'm not personally collecting or gaming retro ships, but I hope that those who do find it useful.

You can order them (there are four) from their website for $15.96 USD.

The closest World Market to me (in Connecticut) is at the Federal Plaza in Rockville, MD.

Interestingly enough you can pick them up for $4.31 USD at Amazon IF you making a "qualifying purchase" of $25.00 USD or more.

LOL

Yep. My wife dragged me into the store and, while she went and did her shopping, I decided to look around their toys and games corner.

Not bad.

WHOA!! I pass by one of these stores (in Austin) on my way home. I've GOT to stop today and look for some of these! Best thing I've seen for tabletop spaceships since those Target Rocket Sippy cups (on a related thread).

Success! I bought great quantities yesterday from my local World Market. I'm sure I can find things for them to do. I believe they are $2.99 USD the each.

Piper,

When you get a chance, can you take and post pics of the unwrapped ships next to your figures?

Thanks,

Dan

I can try to do so, but I don't have a digital camera, nor do I have any 15mm figures worthy speaking of -- so what I might eventually produce may not be relevant to your needs.

PS: Yumpin' Yimminy! As a bonus, at World Market I also found this amazing toy, which is going to be a definite part of my gaming experiences from now on. A yellow duck tape measure.

The tape locks into place and rewinds when you press a release button, just like some vacuum cleaner cords.

Wait, that place that's down the street from my house? Will see if I can swing by this weekend and see what they have left.
