I've seen VSF-themed Star Wars, but this is the first alt-WWII Star Wars I've seen. Except for the Stummel-bodied AT-AT somebody built. This feels more Pulp, to moi. Doug Edit: Keep forgetting to check for cross-posting

As I said before, I hate the term "punk". As I also said, "just stick a corset on the broad, and it's 'punk'". I am proven right, once again. |

As I also said, "just stick a corset on the broad, and it's 'punk'". And in many circles if you spraypaint a few plastic gears and stick them onto a toy gun or a pair of goggles, suddenly it's 'steam.' Not these figures though – they are very well-done. I wonder if the designer would consent to a 15mm figure line being produced based on them? 15mm "regular" Star Wars is dangerous territory. 15mm SW-inspired VSF? A bit harder for The Mouse to object

Sorry. Seems pointless to me. I don't get it. |

I have always like Silof's reimagining of what we consider to be our standard tropes. I think it helps us to focus on what is important and what are trappings for our given efforts. Remember, according to George Lucas back in the day (who knows what he says now), Star Wars was mostly just a reimagining of a samurai movie from the 50's

The Samurai movie was "Hidden Fortress" by Akira Kurosawa. |
