I submitted the ad yesterday so hopefully will be up here on TMP shortly! We put the entire list on the web site so you could see what is coming. You, of course, can only order the ones that are ready which are the codes with pictures.

I already have plenty of British infantry, but those Egyptians and the Camel Corps are going to be tempting at Historicon.

Fantastic news. I still have a dream that someday someone will produce 15mm Bashi-Bazouks and some ragged Egyptian type infantry that can be used for the hundreds of garrisons, militia, slave traders, gendarme, etc., units that were prolific across the Sudan.

I have 600 or 800 Old Glory Sudan figures in 28 mmm, but I am really thinking about redoing the period in 18 mm. I have not done the early period with the rising of the Mahdi, so that would be a good place to start.

Peter Pig already do 15mm mounted and dismounted Bash-Bazouks, and a pack of ragged Egyptian infantry (and some of their Ansar riflemen can double as Bazingers) – but I hope that BM do them as well, though they are not listed on their website yet.

Russ: I'm looking forward to the NWF range – presumably it will cover the 'regular' Afghan army as well?

Yes, but the PP stuff is small(true 15mm) and they don't mix with other figure lines well.

I second with aegiscg47 about the Bashi-Bazouks and the ragged Egyptians there is a lack of those models on the market. Also he's right about the Peter Pigs, nice models but they look like elementary school kids next to these new minis. Lets take it one step and include in that group Egyptians Currassiers and character figures like the Little Big Horn range. I'd like to see Hicks,Baker,Gordon,Wolseley,Osman Digna and the Mahdi to name a few. Also on the Blue Moon list no early war highlanders these will be most likely be in the North-West Frontier range. Lets hope form more types of gun boats then whats currently available.
Thanks Mike.

Bluemoon has just released Sudanese infantry, command and Indian infantry command in there northwest frontier range. Now when the early Brits come out then it will really time to party.
