I am in the process of painting a small Combined Army force for Infinity. I particularly like the Morats, but am not quite sure how to paint them. The pictures don't show all the details, the armour is very colourful, and I am not sure what is armour and what is skin. Is there a painting guide somewhere? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

In general, the only bare skin on Morats is the head – usually red skin with white hair (although some are wearing helmets). The Vanguard Infantry and Daturatzi Witch Soldiers I've painted have a gully-armoured torso and arms, and baggy trousers (with some hard armour plates), while the Suryat and Sogarat units are in fully-enclosed powered armour. The Yaogat Strike Infantry box set has two models with visible faces and two with facemasks (although the hair is still visible), and heavier armour than the Vanguard. The bluish grey upper body and shins are armoured, the brownish green on the upper legs is fabric, IIRC. I don't think there's an official painting guide other than the photos of the miniatures on their website. |

Thanks, that helps. I could not tell if the lower legs were armoured or bare skin. |
