I just saw a note on MicroArmourMayhem.com that Heroics and Ros bought all of Skytrex's 1/300 scale lines. A quick visit to Skytrex confirmed it. Looks like Red Eagle picked up their 144th scale planes. Seems they're interested in selling the others off to focus on the railroading side of their business.

For more info check out this Skytrex page:

Perhaps all the folks in UK have known of this for a while but it was news to this yank.

Leif Edmondson

Yeah it's been ongoing since last year.

Where will I go to get pictures of Old Glory's tanks? grin

Fear not; I'm sure whoever picks up the Command Decision range will keep the flag flying (and hopefully restore prices, at least somewhat – their sudden and unannounced 50% hike killed my planned purchases stone dead….)

OFM has a fine point! I better start copiing the entire catalog of pics!

I hope the 1/600 planes don't disappear into the void. The Coastal forces is a small range, and duplicated in parts elsewhere, but very pretty and a clean style. The typhoons are beautiful, and all my Condor's are their's so if I want more I should probably get them now.

Fingers crossed things shouldn't disappear; they're looking to sell on as complete ranges, so it's a question fo whether the right buyers / price comes forward.

If I had the time / cash / experience / willpower, I'd pick up the coastal force stuff in a flash.

Unfortunately, I am deficient in all four respects.

..and a few others as well.

:O(

I agree.

I hope someone picks up their Coastal Forces stuff, and offers their aircraft packs in larger quantities for a more reasonable price. The castings of them are superb, but considerably higher than those from other manufacturers.

Same goes for their 1/700th scale modern Fast Attack vessels.

Oh to win the lottery…

+1 on the Coastal Forces too – I got started with them last year, then stopped when the big price hike hit in the fall.

Dom
Of course the Old Glory stuff is still at the Old Glory prices- currently £17.00 GBP for a pack of 3 tanks- as it has been for the past couple of years.
We have added to the line as well – most of the WW2 French were never skytrex neither were some of the Russians. Individuals from other nationalities likewise.
None of the CDMOD,CDMV, CDMW CDMODC were ever skytrex niether are the aircraft of Helicopters.
Certainly I'll ber adding to the modern lines indeed new stuff is out under the Firforce15 label
