Are WW Exodus the same size as the Dystopian Legions figures? Would the equipment be compatible? They are both essentially Old West Steam Punk, right? I liked to hear what those playing Dystopian Legions (the land battles with the Brits Prussiands etc ) are thinking about the game. |

WWX is its own weird 35mm scale, so I don't think it'll end up fitting with much of anything. Now, if they're exaggerating this, and the scale is more in line with 32mm (large 28's) maybe they'll get some traction. What scale does Dystopian Legions advertise? I love seeing companies try to shoot themselves in the foot with a super-proprietary scale
and then wonder why the stuff doesn't take off. |

I'm very tempted to do both. I haven't gone down either route yet as there are other projects that are more important at the moment. However I'll probably buy some of the Dystopian Legion British stuff eventually to go with my Zulu or Sudan stuff, not sure which yet. |

DL is obviously bigger than your regular 28mm:
The pix from link I would perhaps wait for comparison shots but one might assume they'd fit decently with WWX, possibly with Malifaux too. |

Dystopian Legions suffers from what I call "Flintloque Syndrome" meaning, yeah DW is a cool looking Fantasy WWI game; but, if I'm going to do all that painting, why not just do REAL WWI miniatures. Since I already have painted historical WW miniatures, I don't have this problem with Wild West Exodus
Or Dystopian Wars as I have WWI ships too. |

Was looking at the Prussian's with their tesla bayonets and was pondering the idea of using them as long gunners for Warmachine. Cygnar have a lightning theme anyway. I think the scale could work. |

I really wish they hadn't made the Dystopian Legions figures so huge. I don't mind a little variation in scale, but the DL guys are just gigantic compared to my other figures and it ruins my "suspension of disbelief". |

Looks like they'll sit nicely with Malifaux and even WWX, though. @MrElmo – DW isn't really WW1, though. It's set a couple of decades earlier and in a rather different technological context. Of course, you can play the game with regular WW1 miniatures, but then you're just playing a WW1 game with a rather sub-par set of rules. Whereas, it becomes a bit more interesting when played as a game of late-19th century colonial war with sci-fi technology. |

The tanks look cool for other games. |

I just bought the Britiania starter box set as I wanted some steampunk colonial British for my own Martian setting and was really disapointed when I opend the box and saw how large they were as they will not fit in with anything else I had planned to buy so sadly altho I like the set it's going straight on ebay |
