Outstanding. Should be a lot of fun getting them boys ready for the table. Cant wait ti start on them. Now I need to decide what to do with those other minis I had that where going to be the almost 14th Brooklyn. Should not be to hard, lots of good Zouave units to pick from. Owen |

Chris, A 24 lbs.Howizter
for real?! Woo hooooooooooooooooooo!!!! That's even better than the 14th Brooklyn! I've been bugging you for it going on 45,000 years!! Awright!! Nice job. Can't wait. Don |

You can never have enough artillery. If you have too many you still need more. We wrote some Vicksburg scenarios for WS&S mag and the Union has a battery of 24 lbs'ers. At the battle of Raymond they helped repulse the Reb attack in the opening phase. A blast of canister or double canister will keep your opponent away for days and days and days. Now I can use the real guns instead of stand-ins. The AoNV had 24 lbs. guns sprinkled in and I've needed them in the past. oh sweet bliss. :) Don |

I got this e-mail from Perry Miniatures 2 1/2 hours ago: "Hello Ray Yes, we had noticed there was a particular interest in the 14th on TMP. Don't worry, we will be covering them. All the best Alan" |

Great to see these glorious soldiers eventually well represented: Perry and S&S !! Anyway as a great fan of Alan Marsh style I think I am going to go on having them made by this great artist. |
d effinger | 03 Jun 2013 10:47 a.m. PST |
Franck, I look forward to seeing them. Even if both S&S and yours are the best miniatures on the planet I'd buy both. I like to mix and match lines to get a better variety. I can't wait to see them! Don |

Don I already got some pictures of greens from Alan but there were some details to change even if the overall look was already amazing. I will post some pictures as soon as possible. Cheers Franck |

Hmm.. I appreciate their uniform is particular, and certainly support the move to get the Perrys to sculpt them etc, but it does occur to me that the Zouave colours slightly obscure the fact that it would be easier to convert them from regulation troops in kepis than Zouaves anyway. Even the false jacket can be indicated with careful painting. Sorry if that's a bit heretical :) |
