We have 2 new farms available now from buildings-in-turmoil.com The Bliss Farm exchanged hands numerous times and was burnt on the 2nd day to prevent anymore Confederate sharpshooters from picking off Union troops on Cemetary Ridge.
The Rogers farm stood a short distance from the Bliss Farm near the Emmitsburg road and in the path of Pickett's Charge. Adopted Daughter of Peter Rogers, Josephine remained in the house and cooked bread for the troops, then later cared for the many wounded that were brought to the cellar. The house fell into disrepair in later years and was eventually removed.
These 4 new buildings can be purchased now painted or unpainted. To see more pics and all of our buildings, go to our website. To place an order or for further information, send an email to bnturmoil@yahoo.com John and Jeff |

Beautiful work. Are there plans to "upscale" these to 15mm at any point? |
Buildings in Turmoil | 21 Apr 2013 3:01 p.m. PST |
Ken, it is very likely that we will do some 15mm in the future. We thought about a type of kickstarter plan where we get so many people to pay in advance for a particular building or farm and then we go ahead and make it. We are open to suggestions that will benifit all of us. |

Many postings including me wouldn't mind 10mm buildings for 15mm figures. Fantastic looking models. |

14Bore, yes, many people who game in 15mm use 10mm buildings because the ground scale reduction makes 15mm buildings too big. There will be a couple of big games at Historicon which will be doing exactly that. Ken, I'll work on some pics of 15mm with the 10mm buildings. But it's kind of taken out of context unless you see it all on a battlefield terrain layout. Still buildings are very big and even some 15mm buildings are reduced smaller than actual scale size. |

Great buildings! 1- You do have one picture on your site with some ACW soldiers in front of a building. The ones on the left look like 28mm and the ones on the right could be 15mm. Am I right? 2- Do you know how yours compare in size to Hovels 15mm ACW? I have a bunch of those. I only ask this because I have seen great variatons in supposedly the same size buildings. JR miniatures were very small 15s while Scenic Effects ACW worked fine with HO scale(20-22mm). Thanks, and again great buildings. |

Here are a few pics of the buildings with 15mm figures next to them. This is the Codori House in the background with 18mm Blue Moon in front of it.
This one shows The Mclean barn with 18mm Blue Moon on the left, 15mm Old Glory and then 10mm Old Glory figures on the right.
Here is a 18mm Blue Moon officer next to the Mcpherson Barn.
Battle Honors Artillery next to the Mcpherson House.
cfuzwuz, I used to have some hovels, but I've never compared them side by side, so I honestly can't answer that. Maybe someone should do a site like "Scalecreep" where different miniatures are all standing side by side so we can see the size differences and whether they are compatible or not?
