"Out of the gloom they strode, their brass helmets gleaming in the light of the distant fires, the hiss of their breathing apparatuses the only sound in the unearthly silence.

Each man carried a new experimental weapon and hoped the scientists were right. They halted and peered into to drifting smoke. Leading hand Johnson pushed his way to the front he held Professor Blackwood's ‘Sound Amplification Apparatus', deployed for the first time they were told it could detect the smallest sound and so give away the enemies positions………..

Back at Cape Victoria the Steel Foundry Boys; armed with anything that came to hand, moved along the darkened street, determined to protect the town but unsure what was happening.

At the crossroads she stood ; madam with her sidekicks, she sensed the danger, with an almost undetected whirl her mechanical arm moved across her body and slowly drew the pistol. Her left hand resting on the sword hilt. Something wasn't right……..

I would like to produce two sets of Victorian air-suited teams, based on old Victorian deep sea divers but with breathing tanks and Steam punk weapons, I also plan a few support teams, starting with Leading hand Johnson."

Well the last link actually takes you to the dive suit. I like the idea, but having worn a deep sea diving suit, I can say that the helmet on the sculpture needs to be larger. The way it is sculpted, the human head would not be able to fit inside the helmet.

But the artist does say the sculpture needs a bit of tweaking. I hope this is one of the things being fixed.

Reviresco have had 25/28mm VSF divers in hard hat suits with various weapons for many years.
