I am collecting 28mm Ancient Artillery for my own collection, are there any makers in 28mm as this is my prefered gaming size. |

Black Tree have a good range of Roman artillery pieces, half a dozen different designs, although the crewmen aren't particularly great. I replaced some with Foundry conversions.
There are some other models on my blog:- link Warlord have some good pieces too, with smaller crewmwen, as do Newline. Cheers, Simon |

Tnkmodels, I also like the Warlord pieces. I have a Roman ballista from RAFM minatures that is my favorite. They are closer to 25mm, but the ballista model fits in well with my Old Glory and Foundry Romans and is not the typical ballista in construction. |

Hi Mike! One thing about ancient artillery pieces, is that they are fairly scale independent; some 28mm pieces would work with 18mm, and vice versa. Alas same can't be said of the crews. BTD do an absolutely huge ballista, I have one tucked away for a rainy day
