Hey folks, I have been looking to no avail for German tactical, divisional and plate decals for 1/56 models. I have checked the usual suspects for me, and all I can find are Balkenkreuz and turret numbers, which is fine, but want to put every detail on these models.

I even have decal paper for the inkjet which works surprisingly well, but I cannot print white. I could use white paint, and print the decals on that, but really would rather just buy some pre made. Especially since I could not use this technique for white divisional and tactical markings, just the number plates.

I am looking particularly for 1st SS (LSSAH) 1944, Normandy, if that makes any difference, but at this point would settle for a wider time frame if I had to.

FWIW, MicroMark has white decal paper: link

It requires careful trimming, but I did some nose art with white elements on various-colored backgrounds.

Of course there are quite a few choices in 1/48th.

Company B are stil by far the biggest range in 1/56, and have LSSAH badges and reg plates, right down near the bottom of the page:

I can't remember seeing tactical symbols anywhere though.

Ahh excellent. I didn't know about Company B, still new to the WWII 28mm scene. Thanks!

Company B even has US and German tactical symbols for WW2 Gear Krieg Combat Walkers…

archer makes dry transfers for tactical symbols in 1/48th. They are listed under 1/35th and are on a sheet with some for 1/35th.

We (Warlord) might have some of what you need.

Waffen-SS licence plates: link

There's also some tactical markings on our Afrika Korps decal sheet: link

No divisional symbols (yet) unfortunately.

Peddinghaus decals do much of what you want in 1/48
