I want to paint up a greenish statue and am looking for suggestions on what color to use. Here's the idea of what I am looking for.

Any ideas on pre-made paint or mixes others have used would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

I would spray undercoat it with a Krylon camouflage olive, and drybrush it with Delta Ceramcote Wedgewood Green.

I often start with a base coat of dark brown and dry brush over that with 3 to 5 gradually lightening shades of green. Selecting good shades of pale green is really the key to the proper finish.

How about green?

I basecoat white (if you basecoat black, you'll probably have to drybrush or undercoat white, anyway…), undercoat with teal or turquoise or a custom-made blue-green, depending on whim and time, then drybrush Bronze (I use Ral Partha's old Bronze paint – I really like the "not gold" look), to get a "it's not *all* corroded" look. Then I wash with another blue-green (sometimes I make my own and add a touch of grey, sometimes just dilute a teal right out of the bottle). Varying the dilution of the wash gives more verdigris (older statue) or less (newer statue, or just cleaned more recently).
