I was looking over at Safari Ltd again, making a decent sized order
there are several that stand out for me and others here on the board
for example I am certain a particular forumite would love to get his "I like my kaiju as weird as possible" hands on this one
which is on sale for $3.49 USD right now lol link There are many of the classic favorites
and saying those out loud would be fun, I appreciate that sort of thing
collecting data is one of my things lol
but moving on, what two or three would you like to combine in Chimera fashion (half of this half of that etc.)
For me, these two have been drawing my attentions
Head and neck plate of the Dunky and the headless body of the rhino.
An ultra armored guy for sure, limited attacks like charging/body check/and the bite
but oh what a bite. If playing in a powered type game, then maybe something fun like vomiting up magma like plasma
so the idea would be that he charges in and secures a bite then releasing the plasma at zero range :) Anything there are elsewhere in the same vein catch your eye?

I often hit up our local Science Safari for finds like these. That Dunkeloceros would be a nightmare on the tabletop. I saw a really irascible-looking Safari Ltd. Warthog there a few years back, about 4" long, that would work as a weird kaiju, especially with a new paint job – gotta make the eyes look wilder:

I always stop by the plastic animal section when I go to Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and TRU to see if there's any "must have" figures. -Ken Radioactive Press |

I picked up a Safari dodo-bird at some point:
I thought he was strange enough to be a giant monster without hybridizing him. "Thought we were extinct, did you?!?!" |

Gammarauders had a lot of upgunned giant animals – including a penguin. Now I want to stick Zoids guns on a musk ox

What three (or more if need be lol) dinosaurs would you combine to create your Praetersaurus? For me
I really like the Ceratopsidaes for a basic head style, especially the Styracosaurus
Mouth and back legs of a T-Rex
Body of a Stegosaurus

I am down hard with strep and flu so I have time
though I am a bit loopy with the meds
I will look and see what I have laying around and conduct a convert-a-monster project. |
