Does any one know how they carried their 'extra' weapons ie the axe or mace? On the man through the sash, on the horse? Happy to go looking if there is a website which tells all – tried the Google approach but don't see this kind of detail
Thanks for any help – doing some 54mm ones and wanted to add these individual touches. |

I doubt if they had an SOP or a Quality Manual that told them how or where. I would suggest it was more likely they were issued the kit and told to look after it
? Within reason, stick them where they look best. rabbit |

Fair point Rabbit – to make an impact (no pun intended) they need to somewhere they can be seen – they are lost it tucked through the waistsash, so I will go for suspended on the saddle cloth somewhere. |

Will do – posting pics here – OK with a link to PhotoBucket, where I usually put my stuff? Putting some WIP photos up there shortly. |

Photos of WIP and painted figures here link Don't seem able to make a short link any more
This is the first 6. BTW I solved the 'were to stick it' issue – found a couple of sources which show the axe and/or mace pushed under the strap which goes over the shabraque at the front, head up. Mine dont have them yet, as I was leaving them to add to the figures after it they were painted
