Played a solo game between two VMF-221 F2A-3 Buffalo vs two Ki-43c Oscars (I know, historically inaccurate) followed by a combat between two F4U-1A Corsairs and two Ki-61-KIAc Hien fighters.

On paper, one engagement should have ended well for the Japanese, the other on a par.

A well thought out game will give any pilot a chance to survive, let alone shine.

Statistically , the real results of such combats are preordained.

It was fun to to beat the odds, both ways. The Buffalos dispatched both Oscars and the Tonys downed two Corsairs.
