"The date for our Martian Front Kickstarter was supposed to be in this press release. Sorry, but no exact date yet. We are now targeting Mid April. The response has been so strong that we are now scrambling to make the initial line launch bigger: More product and more reveals. Please bear with us. Your response has been inspiring and we want to get this as right as we can. We have provided an extra long preview for you this time around! More information can always be found here at a website we created just for All Quiet on the Martian Front…"

To me, the last two just look silly.

Scale?

They are 15mm and while they are a bit OTT, I'll probably back the Kickstarter as this looks silly but fun.

Tgunner05 Apr 2013 5:30 a.m. PST

The troops are actually 18mm according to the website.

RebelPaul05 Apr 2013 5:38 a.m. PST

The monitor reminds me a lot of a GW Leman Russ.

dbander12305 Apr 2013 5:38 a.m. PST

I put it out to the local group and the response was positive.

We have not gamed in the Steampunk era at all…..this is different enough to be interesting

Dragon Gunner05 Apr 2013 7:27 a.m. PST

Orc tanks here we come.

Andoreth05 Apr 2013 7:35 a.m. PST

I like the idea and the infantry look interesting, but the tanks have way too many turrets and the guns are far too big for the turrets supposedly accommodating them. I know it's fantasy but I'd like to think that the guns had some chance of being crewed and fired.

Looking at the pictures I'd be much happier if the two turrets to either side of the driver on the first two tanks were replaced with the smaller gattling turret from the command tank. Maybe it could be made optional which turrets came with the vehicles.

Looks like my company's game Timeline 300, only with silly tanks. :-)

deflatermouse06 Apr 2013 1:25 a.m. PST

As with Drgon Gunner and bluebirds40.2nd'ed
the 1st thing I thought at the last two was Orc Tanks.
This is one kickstarter I am actually interested in. Thank you for posting.

Anyone else having issues with the turret/towers being perched right over the front tipping point? Brake VERY carefully!

yep signed up. Hopefully the rules will work. If andy Chamb ers is involved rather than just trading on his name then they should be ok.
May sounds herasy but I hope to use my 15mm Minifigs WWI British,French,Germans,Russian,Austrians,Anzacs & Turks with them & the Martians.

I'm liking the plastic tripods. They could work at various scales, depending on what you want them to represent.
