Hi I was trawling around and I came across the old Gauntlet site with a mention of de Bellis Espana by Mark Hannam and army lists too. Has anybody come up with any variants for Interwar (ie RCW, SCW, VBCW, etc) or early WW2? Thanks for any help GrumpyOldMan |

Not personally, but Irregular Miniatures sell (cheaply) a set of rules for the SCW called Que?. It has similarities to DBA, but the differences are enough not to make it the same. Cheers, JohnG |

Well you could have Clerics -that's for sure -how about the crushing weight of the NKVD as a Behemoth. I've been looking at this recently. It could play as either a straight HOTT or you could use Hordes in the Trenches with tweaks. If you can find Hordes in Africa -that differentiates between four types of shooters some of which are extremely crap- that could be your Anarchist unit with their state of the art weaponry. It also takes the scale down thus increasing the weapon ranges. Army of Africa and Carlists as warbands maybe -actually everybody as hordes or warbands now I come to think about it! Oh and Hemingway as a lurker

Hi platypus01au & mashrewba Thanks for the responses. Lots of ideas there, might get Que? when I need to get something sent out from the UK. I might continue stealing the best bits from others' variants :) – including but not limited to Hordes in the Trenches, HOTT-WW2, Chako War and now Hordes in Africa (available from the HOTT Yahoo group). Cheers Victor/Grumpy |

If you go the Fanaticus website, they have links to a few different horse and musket variants of DBA. Rob |
