Very nice. Now for the rest of the regiment …

Happy painting!

Very well done.

One minor comment: the pennant should be red over white.

Totally inspiring. I started on my Perry lancers yesterday and yours are a great source of painting and highlighting ideas. (Your photography skills are impressive too. These photos stand up to magnification really well)

I liked them so much I have even ordered more from Perrys. I was going to stick with campaign only, but heck let's have full dress as well. I also ordered GMB pennants (and will put them crimson over white). I boobed on the form and ordered four sheets…at 24 to a sheet I'll be painting Poles for years or have many a spare lance! Never mind. Thinking of upgrading the lances but not too keen on Front Rank's style.

Finally, forgive another "clever dick" comment. Their trumpets were (uniquely?) silver not brass……….I think…weren't they?

Prefer the Rouge Lanciers, however, these are beautiful and expertly done too, thanks for sharing with us all on TMP, m'Lord.

Must ask yet again…..with apologies as has appeared so many times, things may have changed. What do folk use for Polish Crimson? I cannot bring myslef to open my tin of Humbrol Authenticolour (25 years old…no more than that!)
