The latest in a continuing series of SYW in India games put on by Eric at Hot Lead but this time seeing the Dutch rather than the French fighting the British.

Warfare in the Age of Reason rules used with some special modifications like native allies performing a morale test every second turn to see if they would move or not; Siege guns taking two turns to reload; and there being a chance for Indian allies to change sides if their prince desired.

Thanks for posting Andy, played in the India game at Hotlead a couple years ago, but didn't get to see this year's game in action as I was playing on the other side of the hall.

Very unique period battle, looked like fun.

Good pics Andy! I wonder are the colours lightened in the shots or are the Dutch line uniforms supposed to be " hot climate" uniforms?

I missed gettting a chance to chat much with Eric Ritchie about his game!

I did slightly lighten most of the photos because the ambient light wasn't very good but I don't think they're too far off the true colour. Some of the shots are natural too when we did get some sunlight.

Outstanding! Love seeing Aor games from the far East.

Our group has also "discovered" India, it is very colourful! Great to see the Dutch uniforms, I think I could switch flags on one of my French "German" regiments to be Dutch.

I think it's very interesting too, freecloud. It appeals more to me than, say, Ottomans because both sides' troops are so evenly matched with national, company, better-quality Indian allies and poorer-quality Indian allies on both sides.

Andy thats exactly it – you get an even, fast moving and colourful game.
