Stefano Veneziano's set up for a Comitatus game under the walls of Rome. Belisarius is leading a sortie against the besieging Goths. More on the set up at linkwith troop lists and battle reports to follow in due course no doubt. Comitatus rules still available at linkSimon |

This puts me in danger of having to reread Robert Graves' "Count Belisarius" sometime soon. Not such a terrible fate, as I love the book
. Looks like a spectacular set up, thanks for sharing Simon. – James |

Can't get to Stefano's website. What scale? Where did you get the road? |
LorenzoMele | 30 Mar 2013 10:58 a.m. PST |
Most of the roman cavalry comes from Donnington, so the scale is 15mm. tagmata.it

Hi there, The full scenario is from an effort of my club ARSM, in Rome, while romans are mine, Goths from Giuseppe, as the cobbled road. Figures are 15mm mostly from Doniington, some Essex and some old Tabletop (are Tabletop still available on the market?). The road I don't know actually, I will ask my friend Giuseppe. Sorry for the up and downs on the link, my ip provider wants more money!! cheers Stefano |
