I wanted the turret to be able to sit on the rear of the APC when it wasn't in combat, like in Aliens. I drilled a new hole for the turret plug with a 9/64" drill bit, and then used a 3mm drill bit to make a hold for the magnet. This was my first time drilling resin, and I was very happy with how easy it was to drill into the stuff.

I magnetized the top as well, along with the smaller turret in the front so that it could rotate.

Who makes the model?

Excellent idea and execution. This one is the Khurasan model, isn't it?

Thanks!

Aye, it's a Khurasan model.

If you were hard core, you'd magnetize the turret and put a strip of metal down the length of the track. Thus allowing the turret to slide up and over :)
