They look too smart to mess up with gun powder and mud:)

Very nicely done! I love the round bases!I'm working through my ACW Artillery at the moment and round bases are getting tempting.

Great painting. Minor detail. The guy with the rammer/sponge needs to swop sides with the lad carrying the next round, the loader……..

Thanks for your comments.

Of course, they are too smart for the battlefield, but I imagine they are shooting a 100 rounds for the birth of Napoleon's son :-)

I used an oval base (150mm x 100mm) from Foundry: link

Damn, I really got to study the position of each gunners! Thanks for the correction.

I don't believe I've ever seen artillery models mounted on a round base before, but it looks quite good. Thanks.

Operating microscopes come with a circular removable plastic cover over the lens, so, when I am finished, my scrub nurse knows to keep the disposable screen for me, even though she would not know a carabinier from a voltigeur. Brilliant for Perry artillery. Also, as they are thick, but crystal clear, if you paint the underside and want to model a pool of water….job's done! I get several a week.

Happy Trails
