This week I have managed to speed paint a couple of units of Berber Infantry with spears and bows in preparation for our Siege of Valencia game at Cannon in Retford tomorrow.
As usual, there are more images and commentary on the Scrivsland blog: link |

This weekend I finished off nine Berber cavalry and have updated the blog with those: link
I have also done another spear/bow block and they are just awaiting photographing, I'll hopefully get that done this evening. |

Before sitting down this evening to swear at the Sky box and then eventually watch Game of Thrones I managed to take a photo of the third unit of Berber infantry for this force:
Now with three units of infantry and one of cavalry it is starting to look like a force:

Great job on these. I have an El Cid Spanish army in 28mm, and always wanted to add andalusians and berbers. Love your blog by the way. Me and a few friends are keen to try Hail Caesar for El Cid and Shieldwall armies, so I appreciate you sharing your "Hail Cid" experiences. |

Thanks, I am happy to be of help. The Hail Caesar rules seem to give a much better big game than the old WAB rules, things seems to happen quite quickly and the whole unit removal against single figure removal certainly speeds things up. |
