Here are some pics of my 1/144 scale aircraft (I hope the title wasn't too misleading!) Mostly Reviresco and Skytrex. I used wire filaments for the Eindeckers bracing.
The last one used 4 identical Nieuport 11 models, the two in the foreground were given modified engine cowlings (with green stuff) to convert to Nieuport 17s. |

Very nice collection; the fuselage on that Walfisch is particularly impressive – must've been a joy to freehand

Wow, they are gorgeous! I really like those Nieuports, and the colors you chose for all of them looks perfect. Nice work! |

Nungesser, that was probably a bitch to paint, unless his "heart" is a transfer?

They look great. I love the Eindeckers. |

Thanks everyone. I used decals for the national insignia (Dom's Decals are excellent
good to see the banana made a full recovery!) and some Reviresco ones for the Fokker DVII and Halberstadt CL. I painted the Nungesser heart and Sopwith Triplane letters. The Walfisch is one of my favourite models and brings a new meaning to "scale painting". The Albatrosses are based on Jasta 12. I used Vallejo paints mainly and mixed up my own concoction for PC10 (or whatever it was called) for the RFC. Cheers |

They are lovely DB.. inspiring in fact. What colour did you use of the Neiuports? |

The Nieuports were in fact painted with Tamiya Flat Aluminium (the only good Tamiya paint for brush painting). Then a wash with Badab Black (GW). The same technique was used on the yellow nosed Pfalz. |
