I'm about to start on my Gauls, and would love to see some pictures of / links to the armies others have done.

I (and hopefully others) will likely steal your ideas though, so bear that in mind!

Cheers,
Aaron

Any scale will do, Mike. I'm painting 15mm, but can learn from anything.

Thanks for that, Pictors. Noting down colours as I write :)

Cheers, Mike, and thanks for starting the thread, Aaron. You're making it even harder for me to resist painting Gauls! I know I'll have to at one point…

Thanks for posting everyone – lots of inspiration here.

Wow, great stuff, all! Many thanks. You are all inspirations. If my 15mm end up looking as good as Nola's 10mm I think I would be very happy.

Twilight Samurai, who makes those chariots of yours? Are they 28mm?

Thanks again all!

Twilight Samurai21 Mar 2013 6:45 p.m. PST

Chariots are 15mm Essex.

Thanks, TS. Might have to get some at some stage.

Take a peek at Splintered Light's Irish line. I used their chariots for my Impetus Gallic army and they turned out quite nicely.

I also really liked Xyston's range of figures. Good luck on whatever you choose to do for your project! Looking through this thread makes me want to paint up another Gallic army.
