This Short S.25 Sunderland was nothing but "short". With a wingspan of about 35 metres (112 ft) it was one of the biggest flying boat used during WWII on the allied side. Big Bird – F-toys Figures – Pendraken Vehicles – Spare box

As you can see (lower left bottom), even in the desert the metal scrap yard was a faithful companion of the side of the railway

Looks good, I like the water. According to the book "The Media Relations Department of Hizbollah Wishes You a Happy Birthday", prior to the discovery of oil, the primary export of Libya was scrap iron in the form of Italian/DAK/8th army armor |

Yes, I love all of these dioramas, but the ones that include planes, especially flying boats or floatplanes, are my favorites. Have you done any, or are any planned, that feature electric trolleys/trams? They were ubiquitous in pre-WWII Europe. |

Love the Sunderland diorama. Definitely my favourite aircraft. Was visiting Auckland's Museum of Technology and Transport a couple of years ago, and discovered they had one out the back of their sheds being repaired. The thing was huge! Bill. |
