Non-politician? Sarah Palin. Hasn't held any office for years and makes her living as a tv "personality" so she's a safe bet, although her 15 minutes are pretty much over by now.

I would say the Kardashians also, but I only ever see them in 10-second clips which have minimal impact on my consciousness.

Honey Boo-Boo. Not so much for her but for the dysfunctional tribe she belongs to.

Andy Dick. Seriously, I just don't get why he's famous.

Never mind Bono, what about Morrissey? pretentious, self-important little whiner that he is.

As this is just annoying not any real emotion has to be involved, the same as a pebble in your shoe. I would like to add any of the nest of criminals that 24 hour news stations think they have to spend an entire week or longer "covering" the court case.

So I would have to say most of them, because their chief occupation if they are a celebrity is to stay celebrated by someone. Then some how they think that it makes their views, thoughts, lifestyles, friends or bodies important or interesting enough for any of us (who actually work and try to keep society running) to pay attention to.
