Hi, i know little about naval models, but am hoping i might be able to find someone here who is able to point me in the right direction regarding some items from my late fathers collection.

He has several modles like the one pictured below

I have no idea who makes them, does anyone recognise them at all. They are amazing models, i am interested to know who they are by.

Skytrex produces some display models, as do other manufacturers, so it might be one of those.

Can you tell what the model is made from? Cast metal? Injection-molded plastic? Wood?

Can you tell the scale? How long are the ships? Does the scale seem to be the same for all?

They are metal, the 2 pence piece was added to indicate scale. The box it is sat on is consistent with the other models. This one is about a foot long.

hat would appear to be about 1/700
