Irrational Number Line Games has an article discussing the plusses and minuses of making some prehistoric pulp tribesmen from cheap plastic toys.

A similar set is available that has a good 'generic' weapon-wielder that can accomodate different pin-mounted weapons that I use for my Caveroom brawl

I just had a friend dig out their painted versions of those plastic cavemen. Not as nicely painted as yours though. |

Thanks all! @Roderick Robinson – They do indeed work well with the PAL Caveman! rules. My fave game of that so far is a wooly mammoth hunt. We distributed playing cards around the hunting plain to represent things like extra throwing rocks, hidey holes where the mammoth can't see you, and velociraptors who were hunting the mammoth, too. @gweirda – That's a nice fig. Good open pose for converting. Where's it from? |

etotheipi – I'm in the middle of a move, so the info is (hopefully) packed away
I'll post it as soon as I dig it out. |

I found the name of the place I got the fig from ( link ) but the selection is a lot smaller now – no 'prehistoric people'. I do have a box of leftovers (packed up in the basement) if anyone is interested in them. |
