6mm the way it is meant to be done – beautiful

I've seen the Pegasus Bridge battle done in 6mm, 15mm and 20mm and in all of them the modelwork and scenery has been stunning. Well done to everyone on this game and those others that live in my memory.

Gorgeous terrain!

From a purely wargaming point of view, it is a dull action. They landed, took out the garrison and other than desultory attacks through the night and the odd firing of small arms etc they got to sit and wait. The main battles for the bridges were fought away from them.

It certainly illustrates the advantages of the smaller scales.

It's the game put on by my club, the main credit has to go to Tony from Brigade Models who designed all the scenery elements and had them done through 3D printing.

The game has (quite rightly in my view) won awards at three of the four shows it has been taken to.

You can see more of the game on the club pages including a time lapse video of it being built. Something you rarely get to see.
