Hello folks. I've recently tried my hand for the first time at some 10mm Germans from Pendraken, and wanted to share some pictures. So far it's a pretty small force, but I find I like these models a lot, and am hoping to eventually expand.

There's a shot below, and you can see some more detailed images at my blog if you're interested:

Thanks – James

Great stuff James! And I appreciate the post as I will shortly be ordering up some Pendraken WWII as well. Your paint job is excellent by the way.

Nice work.
I also like pendraken.

Excellent work!

How thick are those bases? I thought they were 6mm due to figure to base comparison!

Good grief those are beautiful! I am awed by the detail of the paint jobs.

Very nice work, especially the uniform detail.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

BrotherSevej, the bases are 3mm thick, from Lithko. I like to use thicker bases so that they are easier to pick up – makes me less likely to pick them up by the figures/ tank themselves.

Nice stuff

Think the Late Romans you entered into the competition are fantastic as well

As to the infantry………..wow! Easy to mistaken them for much larger scale. Very nice work.

jfariahitech28 Feb 2013 6:22 a.m. PST

Nice job!

Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks guys. And thanks for the complement on the Romans Steve. My goal is to do up a late Roman army and a Gothic force to go up against them. It'll probably take me a while, but should be fun. And I'm sure I'll be making some WW2 detours along the way….

Congratulations James on taking first prize in the Pendraken competition! Your work is certainly deserving. So what are you going to get with the store credit???? grin

Wow! Stunning. Simply stunning. It really shows off what can be done in this scale, and Im dead jealous. Is that a Pendraken Hetzer too?

What rules have you based these for please?

Also just checked out your blog – those Roman shields are great. You must have glasses like bottle ends….!!!!
