Anyone remember Exo Squad? Greatest (American) cartoon ever, IMO. If one were interested in gaming the series, what figure line would make a good candidate for the NeoSapiens?
They stand a fair bit taller than humans, so anything from a large 15 to a 20mm figure might work. Neo vehicles have a high tech look, so a combination of DP9 Gears and re-purposed GW Tau models might meet that requirement.

This was my favorite show when i was like 14, i had all the figs and everything! Nice to see someone else who remember this awesome show:) It might be difficult to make these machines without a fair amount of work, though you migh want to look into Port Arthur Heavy Gear stuff. ~Jared |

A lot of the aliens that PF sculpted for Rebel Miniatures remind me of neosapiens, although most of them would need head-swaps and/or "digital" manipulation. rebelminis.com/pale.html rebelminis.com/alandve.html (I still regret getting rid of my exosquad toys) |

Too bad you aren't going for 1/144 scale, because GRELs are a perfect fit for Neo-Sapiens! |

The was shown on british TV. Remember that most of the human exo-suits were rips of various anime designs. |

Oh man, Exo Squad was my favorite. I'm stll a bit miffed that the second season was never released to DVD. If anyone can help me get these, I'd appreciate it! As for which figs, the only thing I can think of is there were 3 micro scaled exosquad toys that were somewhere between 15 and 20mm is scale. Each came with a playset, one or two frames and two figs. You can see the whole list here at the very bottom of the page: link Rare, but not un-findable. Other than that I have no idea, but anything in form fitting body armor that you can put a bald head on would probably look fine. I do my sci-fi mass battle gaming in 10mm with rebased mechwarior clix, and the salamander armor always reminds me of an exo frame. Haven't got a picture of mine so here's one from Firebase Ares.
Unfortunately it's more scaled for 6 or 10mm. |

I picked up the first season of Exo Squad at Big Lots for $5. USD It holds up well. |

Wow, the Rebel Pangalactic Legion minis might just be what I've been looking for. Granted, there is some variation between models (they're not all the same race), but that could be explained away as greater genetic variation, etc. Hmm

Loved this show. It's incredibly underrated and I would agree with the OP that it was one of the greatest American animated series ever. Sad that it had such a short life span
.but the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. |

I still have the toys. I was way to old for them when the show was on tv, but the EXOs were soooooo cool. My son now plays with the, from time to time. I have even repainted a few of them. |
