I would have enjoyed the show, but couldn't go, so please, share your experience at Tactica 2013, and photos if possible. Thanks!

Last weekend the In Clouds of Glory design team – aka Thomas Greve and Me took the trip from Copenhagen to Hamburg to present our game.

The arrival on saturday was rather overwhelming. So many traders, so many exquisite terrains and figures and the hordes of the Bring and Buy area (I would really have loved to be there when they opened, there were some seriously good bargains). Soon after we had set up the audience started to stream in.

We soon got a medium sized game up and running, and even though it seemed that it took some time for people to wrap their heads around the "free 3d" game environment. But even though the new players were slower in getting through a turn of the game than we are used to with regular players, we got through some rather quick and dirty games

And on the evening we merged two games as the British bomber formation from game one reached the victorious German fighters from game two for a very eventful game, where the four ship bomber formation of DH-9s was decimated as one plane was shot down and two others were forced home with damaged engines, serious damage to the wings, wounded pilots and one dead observer.

During the day many people came by and asked tons of questions about the game system, the 3d printed airplanes and so on.

When the day was over we were exhausted, having got in the car at 0430 in Copenhagen and running games constantly the full day.

On day two there were far fever people and we had the impression that many came by to buy tons of stuff at the lead pushers (and it was hard not to) as a result we only got players for two smaller games.

Combined we had a very fine trip, with the main regret that we did not get to play anything else ourselves. I would love to come back next year..

As to the games we ran we kept a running scoreboard and the combined victory score after all the games we ran was a resounding victory for the Luftstreitkräfte:

RFC losses:
3 SE5a
2 Sopwith Camels
1 Bristol Fighter
1 AW FK8 recon
1 DH-9 Bomber

DLK Losses:
1 Pfalz D.IIIa
1 Fokker D.VII
1 Fokker Dr.I
1 Albatros D.Va
