Try looking for model architecture sites – 1/32 is closer to the scales used by 'real' modellers. |

A couple things- First, there really isn't any difference in techniques, just size, and perhaps a littel more detail. Second- BMC has three kits available of ACW buildings which are affordable and available from various hobby sites. |

There are also resin/foam buildings that can be picked up from Barzso toy soldiers and All The Kings Men. |

Dear jjpeach, Allow me to invite you to TVAG's "Little Houses" via this link . The 1/32 buildings are all available in PDF file form and immediate delivery via E-mail. Designed for simple self assembly, they only require the use of 5mm MDF or foam/feather board backing and basing to make them permanent accessories to your 54mm gaming uses. The buildings will work for Western Europe from the Napoleonic Era through WW II, and are specifically desgined for wargames in 1/32. Most can go together in an hour or two, with the proper materials. Also available are advertising posters which can be glued to buildings/walls for the period leading up to WW I, and most buildings are provided with signage in English, Dutch, French, and German, depending on where you wish to locate you actions. Hoping you'll give them a look, I think they may be just what you're after! In any case, best of luck with your projects. TVAG |

Dear JJ peach Subscribe to Railroad Model Craftsman. They tell you the best means to scratchbuild these things. Also there is a magazine "O guage" that will do the same. You can easily retrofit the houses back a hundred years. |
