Painted up my first unit of the excellent Warlord plastic Zulu War British Infantry, as well as my second unit of Zulu. Feedback, as always, is very welcome. See them here: link

Nicely done, I'm working on mine although only in ones and twos at the moment, I do agree they are excellent little figures!

Nicely done!

I have exactly one Brit done so far – so this is good encouragement to get off my butt and start painting!

I just finished putting together my NNC unit, I have 60 British infantry to do next.
I have the British army starter set, The figures take a bit of patience when putting them together, but they are well worth the effort.
Your Brits have inspired me to keep going.

Nice work.

Possibly the best Warlord Zulu Brits I've seen to date. The photos almost convinced me but cavcrazy reinforced my reluctance to buy them over the Empress Metals which are superb.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

I should mention the British Officer, NCO and the Zulu Induna are Empress metals. Both lines are excellent, and of course designed to fit in with each other. I think I actually prefer the plastics just for the cleanness of the castings. They do take a lot longer to put together though…

I really wish they would bring out a British cavalry plastic box. The cost of putting together a unit in metal is rather off putting!

Very nicely painted….great job on the helmets…

Thanks! I'd like to say I have a fancy technique for the helmets, but they were simply painted white then hit with GW's brown wash.
