A while back I converted a batch of EM4 Mechs and finally got around to taking some pics. The stock mechs are nice enough, but there's alot of potential for conversion, even when only using bits from the kits themselves. For 7 mechs and a description of each conversion go here link

Here's 2 of the seven to whet your mecha appetite.

Nicely done. I've been wanting to order some of these. With your conversions, it expands the range with a lot more models.

I bought a dozen of these off ebay sometime in the late 90's/early 2000's. They were fun.

Gave them away to a friend when he moved away as he lacked battletech mechs of his own

Nice article, I didn't know they made that type of base, I think I'll add a pack or two to my next order. (and some robots, obviously)

Thank you for sharing. The conversions look great! I have some of these mechs too and I might have to 'borrow' your ideas. Thanks again.

Glad you folks enjoyed them.

I think many of us have these lying around and have been wondering what to do with them. Stock they are pretty nice already, but with a bit of conversion there are alot more possibilities and since their so cheap you can afford to take risks with them.

These are great OB, I like the large chicken walker 2 the best, they will look good painted up, I like these cheap plastic mechs, useful for conversions, this is what I did with mine. I did mine as more a 15mm heavy power armor.
