We're pleased to preview the second of our 15mm ultramodern vehicle kits, the T-90A Vladimir.
The most modern tank in the Russian arsenal, it features a different turret shape from the T90 and earlier Russian tanks, and carries the state of the art in Russian tank tech, including the Shtora laser rangefinder disruptor boxes on the turret front.
This kit was painted by Troop of Shewe -- as it shows (shewes?) the turret hatches are separate. Coming alarmingly soon! (Cross posted to sci fi because the guys there use modern kit so often in gaming.)

Any chance we can get a pic of it next to the neo sovs and there future russian tank? |
khurasanminiatures | 08 Feb 2013 9:35 p.m. PST |
It's a Russian tank. It's small. It's not all that much bigger than a T-55, and check out the difference between the T-55 and the M1:
The Federal Samson (medium tank) is just very slightly larger than the M1. |

Very nice model, but there is no exhaust on left side of the hull
Also left side storage boxes are looking like a copy of right side, but they are different on real vehicle. |
SpleenRippa | 09 Feb 2013 4:35 a.m. PST |
I will be using these as 'second line' units to bolster my Red Faction tanks :) |
Tgunner | 09 Feb 2013 5:47 a.m. PST |
Are there going to be some Russian infantry to support them? Gotta have the grunts! |
Sargonarhes | 09 Feb 2013 6:22 a.m. PST |
Ah, good. I'm looking for a proxy tank for my guys.
Thank you Khurasan for your evil mid-tech troops, great as Helghast proxies. |

Ooooo! I might have to get a few of those for Moderns! |

I'm slightly disappointed after the long wait for somebody to bring a 15mm T-90 to market. Like marcin2501 said, there's no exhaust. Where are all the fumes supposed to go? I'd have handwaved that away on a Sci-Fi vehicle but that's a big error on a real-world vehicle. I'd have ponied up for four of these right now but, for that price, that's not a mistake I can live with. It's a shame because it's otherwise a really nice miniature with impressive attention to detail. I hope you fix it. |

If this was digitally rendered, would it be possible to have the original designed reworked for accuracy on the particular faults noted? As has been pointed out, on a scifi vehicle this would be something to overlook but on a historical vehicle, accuracy is not only desirable but expected by many of your customer. -Eli |

Yep, that's been caught and fixed, but unfortunately not before the painting sample was sent to TOS. It's one of the bumps in the road for a part-time miniature manufacturer that everything happens at a glacial pace, so you do what you can. I'm sure marcin, who is a competitor (he runs oddzial osmy) understands this as well. |

Great great model !! I love it. Much mor intresting for me than M1. but!! YOU JUST HAVE TO MADE PAINTER PAINT SHTORA OPEN !!! She needs her eyes !!

LoudNinjaGames | 09 Feb 2013 9:45 a.m. PST |
Good to know it got caught. I'd hate to see it come up after a production run. -Eli |
marcin2501 | 09 Feb 2013 9:50 a.m. PST |
So it's all happily OK – good news :) I wouldn't spot it, but I'm building plastic T-90 kit in 1:72th scale and I'm deep in details
And yes – it could look better with "eyes" ;) |
Mehoy Nehoy | 09 Feb 2013 9:55 a.m. PST |
Ha ha! It looks like Stewie Griffin! I'm pleased you caught the exhaust problem. I can't wait to finally have some T-90s! |
khurasanminiatures | 09 Feb 2013 10:07 a.m. PST |
Had a problem with the HMMWVs as well, also spotted after TOS painted them. Oh well, as Bob Morton says in Robocop, that's life in the big city! |

Yup Khurasan.. I don't want to sound negative.. But after this i predict drop in your space soviet tank purchases.. This guy is just much more detailed.. You should produce That hos Giant laser gun with battery on the back of the tower turret for T 90 and sold it separately :) |
