Thank you!

Nice! Even before applying the Warstore's discount, the prices are very reasonable. I'll be picking up one of each, I think. Except for the Leviathan, but only because that's a lot of money I can't justify right now. Later, though . . .

NoseGoblin06 Feb 2013 8:40 p.m. PST

Good to hear, I tried to remain competitive with my prices.

Richard Gaulding06 Feb 2013 9:45 p.m. PST

As bizarre as it might be to say, I think you might be selling yourselves short. There looks to be a lot of value for the money in your sets in terms of both the quality of the sets and the extra value. At the price you're charging, these sets are practically a steal!

Why do I feel like the kid in school reminding the teacher she forgot to hand out the homework?

I think the pricing here in the US is very attractive, when the kit is sold in the EU and UK they see a 20-25%+ increase in price due to shipping and VAT charges.

I agonized over the Crusader pricing but at 1/3 the price of the resin kits for a model that is head and shoulders above the resin kits, I feel it is a fair price. I would have dipped lower but the tooling costs on that model were…. extravagant.

yep just looked at the UK stockist £35.00 GBP for 20 plastic miniatures is in the GW relam of pricing still not much you can do about 20% VAT.

How many mules do you get in the box?……not to fussed about the troopers …..too stormtroopery for me…but like those mules!

NoseGoblin07 Feb 2013 8:51 a.m. PST

The accessory set has three mules and some supply boxes. plus a LOT of other bits that may be usable on other minis.

bullwinklethecat1207 Feb 2013 9:21 a.m. PST

thanks……..that make it worth buying for me!

basileus6607 Feb 2013 11:52 p.m. PST

42 euros for 20 troopers is in GW's Imperial Guard price range.

ordinarybass08 Feb 2013 7:20 a.m. PST

A shame that taxes drive the prices up over the sea.

Here in the USA, the Retail prices are just a bit higher than I'd be willing to pay, but the online discount prices are really great!

Having seen the figures up close and personal (at Williamsburg Muster), I can say without a doubt they are the best plastic kits I've ever seen. In a specific comparison, they put GW's Imperial Guard to absolute shame.

NoseGoblin08 Feb 2013 12:02 p.m. PST

Wow! thank you, I know I love them but I am a bit biased :)

These are great miniature so happy the kick starter worked and we can buy plastic kits now so much better than resin. As far as price goes I don't mind for this quality but I have always had more interest in the miniatures than gaming. Now just to decide what colours to paint them

Thank you! Good price on the Leviathan at the War Store!

Steve K Robinson11 Apr 2013 12:53 p.m. PST

Has anyone started building them? How do the poses fit together? Are they difficult for an unskilled modeler? My worry is that I will spend more time putting the figures together than painting them.

The price from the WarStore does make them attractive.

@Steve K Robinson
Just ordered the 20 figure set today, should arrive by the 16th. I'll post back here to let you know about the difficulty level for an unskilled modeller, but from what I've read from people's experience with the figures, they go together quite easily and quite well, just don't use super glue to build them. Testors plastic model cement is the recommended adhesive.

Assembly is easy as long as you have the instruction sheet; some of the boxes do not, unfortunately, but you can be the instructions from Dream Forge's website. The basic troops are pretty easy to assemble, and having matching pairs of arms definitely helps. The Heavy Weapons are a bit tricky, though, so you'll need to take your time on them. I didn't and screwed up the AA machinegun :(
